Yesterday was amazing. Got up at 5:45am, left the house at 6:30 to leave for work. Worked 7-12. After work, I drove straight to LA to locate my UCB 101 class.

It took me a while, but I eventually found it. I still had plenty of time to kill, so I grabbed some food, parked and took a nap in my car. Then it was time for class and it was amazing! It was so cool to meet everyone, they were all so cool and I can tell that we’re going to have a lot of fun together. The teacher is also very cool. It seems like I have the most experience of the class, but I can tell I am going to learn from them. Then, I drove over to the Melrose Improv to see Louis CK.

There was a line, but since I had a reservation I got to walk right in. It was pretty cool. Elijah Wood was there. I saw him the other day when I was at the Improv to see Rory Scovel. He must dig it a lot. He and Louie are on the same network, so maybe he came out to support, or he’s just a genuine fan. I ate, then the show started. Jay Larson, Laura Kightlinger, and Myq Caplan were his openers and they killed.

Louis CK fucking destroyed that place. I have never heard him tell the same joke twice. He had a whole new hour and it seriously blows my mind that he is that prolific. Some of the stuff he did he was still working on, but it was all very funny. It was amazing to see him.

Oh, I forgot to mention that while all of this was going on, I was fucking sick. I started getting sick on tuesday and I had only gotten worse. I had Dayquil with me and was drinking it all day. I drank more water than I have ever drank. I was a sneezing, coughing, mess. I also had a fever. But it was worth it. Ultimately, the night ended with me having an awesome day and then I puked my guts out as soon as I got home. Worth it!
